Resolved Question: Can I exchange bass with catfish in a bass-bluegill pond?
I have a 1/4 acre pond with bluegill and bass. I want to make it more of a food producing pond, so I want to replace the bass with catfish. Will the catfish eat the bluegill to keep the numbers under control? Will they both accept fish feed? I was also wondering if catfish only fed at night.
